Stock Control / Inventory Management
Matrix addresses these issues and ensures that material is readily available to the project whilst maintaining appropriate stock levels to promote construction and fabrication continuity. StockmaX is a comprehensive inventory and stock control application containing a complete range of functions that facilitate the on-going management of all parts and materials, whilst promoting a saving in total goods value. StockmaX provides full inventory control of material, spare parts and consumables and has facilities to manage and control stock corporately or by individual location, warehouse, rack/aisle and to separate bin locations.
Stock levels are dynamically updated by all transactions and a full transactional history (receipts, issues, returns, adjustments and transfers) and audit trails are maintained. StockmaX automatically manages stock levels to reflect physical stock, allocated stock, on order balance and free stock levels and will prompt the user when stock levels fall to a pre-determined level. StockmaX also operates across multiple warehouses recording such details as location, shelf-life, re-order levels, price information, dimensional data, certification and heat and cast numbers, where applicable.
Features Include:
StockmaX can interface automatically (if required) with the Procurement System for the receiving of parts and material into inventory based on purchase order and goods receipt information located within ProcuremaX. Features within StockmaX also enable the automatic identification of pre-defined stock levels being reached. This is to initiate a re-order situation and invoke the pre-requisitioning facility within ProcuremaX. A pre-requisitioning situation is required to ensure that trends identified within StockmaX are reflective of the current and future part / stock requirements. Both StockmaX and ProcuremaX can operate independently or interface with existing systems as required. |
Inventory Management

Comprehensive inventory and stock control is a prime requirement when progressing and controlling construction and fabrication projects. It is imperative that on-going management of all parts and materials is both efficient from an operational project stand-point and cost effective to ensure materials related overheads are kept to a minimum.
